Cutting-Edge Cancer Research
Research is the key to a cure for pediatric cancer and 90% of its funding comes from philanthropy. Statistics show that pediatric cancer receives less research dollars than many other diseases. For every six research dollars per patient with AIDS, and every one research dollar per patient with breast cancer; a child with cancer receives just 30 cents.*
New breakthroughs and advancements in the treatment of pediatric cancer are saving the lives of our children. However, far too many kids are still losing their battle while too many others must endure painful treatments and lengthy hospital stays as they fight this disease. That is why One Mission supports cutting-edge research in childhood cancer and blood diseases at Children’s Hospital Boston and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We believe very strongly that with more funding and support, the cure to pediatric cancer is within reach.
