FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) - Three members of the New England Patriots were at Gillette Stadium Sunday afternoon to shave heads for a good cause.

Pats tight end Rob Gronkowski and linebackers Jerod Mayo and Dane Fletcher were shaving people's heads to raise money for the One Mission Kids Cancer Buzz-Off which benefits the Children's Hospital Boston's Pediatric Oncology unit.

116 New Englanders, men and women, particpated in the event and had their heads shaved, raising $138,000 for the hospital.

However, donations in support of the oncology ward in Boston are still being accepted through the event's website.

Jerod Mayo shaved Ari Haseotes' head who is one of the co-founders of One Mission, while Rob Gronkowski shaved Boston University hockey player Ryan Santana's head.

Dane Fletcher shaved Wade Megan's head, who is also a Boston University hockey player.

The entire BU hockey team showed up in support of their 3 teammates.
